Federico Seminario Gros
Founder & Managing Partner | Energy Executive | Oil & Gas Advisor
Federico Seminario Gros is an energy executive with more than 30 years of experience in exploration, field development, production operations and strategy across Peru and Latin America.
His career combines deep subsurface expertise with executive leadership in producing assets, reserves evaluation, new business, gas projects and complex operational environments. He has held senior roles in leading oil and gas companies, including Vice President of Operations at PetroTal, and has participated in high-impact projects such as Camisea, the Marañón Basin, Talara and other strategic hydrocarbon assets in Peru and the region.
Federico has also served in regional industry leadership roles, including President of the AAPG Latin America & Caribbean Region and senior positions within the Geological Society of Peru.
Through MerKo Energy, he brings independent judgment, technical depth and strategic perspective to help companies, investors and operators evaluate opportunities, reduce uncertainty and create value.
